Inbound Escape

This is my entry for kitiekat4U's "Tears" contest over at:


Our task was to use this Tear Tutorial. I thought it would be easy enough, but once I started working on it, I discovered how hard it is to actually make tears look at all realistic.

Aside from that, I ended up "blending" the girl's face with the rest of the image in the way I did purely out of frustration, not personal preference. I honestly tried about four or five different methods and couldn't get anything to look right to me. Maybe someday when I can figure out a more appealing way to bring this image together, I'll give it another shot, but until then, this will have to do!
